KHAYAL

Meaning both "silhouette" and "imagination" in Arabic, this project is created in collaboration with the paper artist Pauline Loctin, through her artistic residency at Jnane Tamsna in Marrakech. Inspired by our shared connection to the Mediterranean, this collection draws from nature’s organic forms and shifting light, evoking a landscape full of quiet rhythm and life.

The paper becomes a living material—balancing movement and stillness, structure and freedom. The colors—deep blue, vibrant fuchsia, and hypnotic metallic gold—echo sun-drenched memories of coastal summers.

Khayal is a tribute to the mediterranean sea that binds us, a reminder of the beauty of our shared past and the limitless possibilities of our creative futures.

Signifiant à la fois « silhouette » et « imagination » en arabe, ce projet est né en collaboration avec l'artiste Pauline Loctin, dans le cadre de sa résidence artistique à Jnane Tamsna à Marrakech. Inspirée par notre lien commun avec la Méditerranée, cette collection s'inspire des formes organiques et de la lumière changeante de la nature, évoquant un paysage empreint de rythmes paisibles.

Le papier, devenu matière vivante, allie mouvement et immobilité, structure et liberté. Les couleurs – bleu profond, fuchsia vibrant et or hypnotique – évoquent les souvenirs ensoleillés des étés côtiers.

Khayal est un hommage à la mer Méditerranée qui nous unit, un rappel de la beauté de notre passé commun et des possibilités infinies de notre avenir créatif.
